Finding The Wimberley Playhouse

 You can find us
easily at our new Playhouse! We are located on Old Kyle Road, the short
street that connects the Wimberley Square and FM 3237.
From Austin (45 minutes from downtown)
Take Hwy 290 West to Dripping Springs. Turn left at the stoplight onto RR 12
and go 15 miles to the Wimberley Square (where the road makes an “S” at the
center of ). Turn left onto Old Kyle Road. The Playhouse is on the right,
shortly after you pass the tree in the middle of the road.
From Dripping
Springs (15 minutes)
Take RR 12 South and go 15 miles to the Wimberley Square (where the road makes
an “S” in the center of town). Turn left onto Old Kyle Road. The Playhouse is on
the right, shortly after you pass the tree in the middle of the road.
From San Marcos (25 minutes)
Take RR 12 to the blinking light at the Junction. Turn right and continue on
RR 12 North toward Wimberley. Drive 4 miles to the Wimberley Square (where the
road makes an “S” in the center of town). Turn right onto Old Kyle Road. The
Playhouse is on the right, shortly after you pass the tree in the middle of the
road.
From Kyle, Buda or
I-35
Take Hwy 150 to FM 3237 and head west. Drive approximately 9 miles until you
reach the Old Kyle Road turn-off. (Just past the Deer Creek facility on 3237,
the highway bends to the left, and the turn-off is straight on). The Playhouse
will be your left next to an oil/lube shop.
From New Braunfels (35 minutes)
Take Hwy 306 to Purgatory Road and turn right. Stay on Purgatory Road until it
ends at Hwy 32. Turn right and drive 2 miles to the blinking light at the
Junction. Turn left onto RR 12 and drive 4 miles to the Wimberley Square (where
the road makes an “S” in the center of own). Turn right onto Old Kyle Road. The
Playhouse is on the right, shortly after you pass by the tree in the middle of
the road.
From Canyon Lake (30 minutes)
Take Hwy 306 to Hwy 484, and drive about one mile to Hwy 32. Turn right onto
Hwy 32. Continue after driving over the Devil’s Backbone until you reach the
blinking light at the Junction. Turn left onto RR 12 and drive 4 miles to the
Wimberley Square (where the road makes an “S” in the center of own). Turn rightonto Old Kyle Road. The Playhouse is on the right, shortly after you pass the
tree in the middle of the road.
